Scouts

Scouts are the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation – changing lives by offering 6– to 25–year–olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities.

Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self–motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

St John’s hosts a vibrant Scouting Troop (51st Belfast) in our Church Halls each week for children and young adults aged 4 through to 14+. There are also regular church services at St John’s for those involved (and their parents!) at key dates in the church calendar throughout the year. Children and young adults of all faiths and none are welcome to join this organisation. To find out more about our activities, how to enrol or to get involved as a parent, please get in touch.
