Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. Thanks to the dedication and support of 100,000 amazing volunteers, we are active in every part of the UK, giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities.

We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good.

St John’s hosts vibrant Guiding groups in our Church Halls each week for girls aged 4 through to 14+. There are also regular church services at St John’s for the children involved (and their parents!) at key dates in the church calendar throughout the year. Children of all faiths and none are welcome to join this organisation. To find out more about our activities, how to enrol your child or get involved as a parent, please get in touch. Rainbow Guides 4–7 years:
Thursdays, 6.30 – 7.30pm

Brownie Guides 7–10 years:
Thursdays, 7.00 – 8.30pm

Guides 10–14 years:
Thursdays, 7.30 – 9.00pm

Rangers 14 plus years:
Tuesdays, 7.30 – 9.00pm (note – meeting location for Rangers varies)
